"I brought a noisy pool pump here for repair after a suggestion from someone at Majestic. They replaced the bearing and seal for under $150, including labor. However, when I hooked it up at home, there was still a loud, low-frequency humming. I brought the pump back to S-S and they replaced the bearing housing at no charge! These folks are top notch. The pump, which is probably more than 20 years old now runs like a whisper. I would highly, highly recommend."

"My wife and I used these guys for years. For several years we considered them fair. However, one day my car had a water pump go bad. I had it towed to Tune-ups Plus so they could fix it. They ended up charging me like $550 (this was around 10 or so years ago). I thought that was very high so I called 3 other places, including the dealer, and everyone gave a cheaper estimate ($250-$350 range). We were loyal customers and when we needed them most they took advantage of us and raked us over the coals. We never went back after that."

Vacuum windshield wiper maintenance recommended?
Since I have the heater box torn out of my Mercury temporarily, I thought it might be a good time to look over my vacuum wiper mechanism. Lots of access in there right now with the heater gone. My wipers work, but I've always felt they function a little on the slow side. Is there any recommended ...

I recommend having Ficken Wiper service rebuild your motor. They did my 56 motor. Had it back within a week. And I cannot stop the wiper arms when it is turned on, even on dry glass.
