According to FootballScoop, South Carolina’s Sterling Lucas is being targeted by LSU for the position of defensive line coach. Lucas currently serves as the defensive run game coordinator and coaches edges for Carolina.

Lucas coached defensive ends and outside linebackers for the past four seasons at South Carolina, where he helped with the development of standout players Dylan Stewart and Kyle Kennard. LSU already has an edge rushers coach in Kevin Peoples, so a source said Lucas will coach the interior defensive line.
